As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Storage Rentals of America (established in 2014), Benjamin turned a modestly seeded Kohl Family Office storage portfolio into the 17th largest owner-operator platform in the United States upon its $300 MM acquisition of 50 storage properties in the summer of 2019. Benjamin’s depth and breadth of experience in a range of real estate private equity approaches contributed to his ability to penetrate the storage space and create scale that now sets the stage for a platform to sponsor a series of institutionally backed/closed ended acquisition funds.
